Floral Obsession Continued

Yes, Yes I know, floral overload lately but whats summer without bright flowers and easy breezy fabrics. The great thing about floral prints is they can be easily transitioned into fall and winter. Making any floral piece in your closet worth gold! Another great thing about floral prints is they usually house an array of colors making it easy to accessorize. Like this cute little romper. Perfect for summer and the heat. Easily dressed down with some gladiator sandals or dressed up with heels.
I don't normally wear a lot of purple, but these fringe shoes jumped out at me when I saw them. The fringe mixed with the studs just put me in a happy place! I didn't want to add too much jewelry given all the colors and the built in necklace on this particular romper. Happy Wednesday!

XOXO,
Isa

Floral Obsession

If you can't tell, I've been having a floral love affair lately. And it hasn't stopped. So prepare to see lots more floral coming up.
Midi dresses are all the rage right now and with all due reason. They have just the right amount of classy and sexy. This particular one hugs in all the right places and the scoop neck back gives it that extra touch. It's lovely! And comfortable! Two of my favorite things!
When you have a bright and busy dress like this one though, make sure to keep the accessories neutral so that the dress doesn't wear you. You want to be bold but not over powering. Now if the dress was a solid neutral color, then definitely go bold with the accessories and shoes. Have a beautiful day lovelies!
p.s. Make sure to go by Shop Val's Boutique and take advantage of free shipping on any order now through Saturday July 12th at 10pm offered only to my lovely followers! Enter ISAFREESHIP under the coupon code. Have fun shopping!

Isa

Crops and Floral

Its been quite a while since my last post and I sincerely apologize. Let's start the month off right with a little red, white and blue. Then let's take the blue into a fun date night look!
No need to be a rocket scientist to know that crop tops are very hot right now and they've been for quite some time. I'm hoping they are here to stay! I love their versatility!
I wanted to do a little basic Fourth of July colors so I chose this basic crop top, white shorts and added the final pop with the red wedges and purse. Simple and basic worked best for me here and especially worked best with the heat! Then I took the same crop into a night out look with a floral pencil skirt, which you can never go wrong with, and of course platforms and a statement necklace to finish off the look. I also want to mention that all the pieces I am wearing have been in my closet for quite some time. Both shoes and clutch are almost 2 years old. Hope you enjoyed this look! I'm working hard to bring you more fun posts! make sure to check back often! Kisses!

XOXO,
Isa

Comfy and Chic

The Florida Keys are all about relaxation and comfort. But I believe you don't have to compromise appearance to reach a high comfort level. You can be comfortable and still look polished and put together at the same time.
Anyone that lives or has visited the Keys knows theres bicycles everywhere and everyone uses them. So I thought my dads vintage bicycle combined with this outfit was appropriate for this post to show that you can look cute and enjoy a bike ride at the same time. Let's talk gladiator sandals for a second, definitely a hot trend right now. Whether they're ankle high or knee high, choose a style and get a pair. They look hot with shorts (for this heat) or a cute little dress. These JustFab gladiators are surprisingly comfortable. I honestly was hesitant to purchase them but I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend them as they are comfortable and affordable. A simple flowy top and shorts can go a long way if you accessorize them. And you don't need to spend a fortune to do so. Here is a breakdown of my total cost for this outfit:

Top: $22 (via Hautelook)
Shorts: $9 (Dream Out Loud via Kmart)
Hat: $5.99 (Bealls Outlet)
Sunglasses: $4.95 (H&M)
Bracelet: $3 (Bealls Outlet)
Total without sandals: $44.94
Sandals: 39.95 (via Justfab) (Much more affordable than many gladiator sandals)

Total including shoes and all accessories: $84.89

I would say thats a bargain for an entire outfit. Especially for pieces that are versatile!

Have a great day!

XOXO,
Isa
